Amazing sea views from the King Room make for a fine backdrop.
No en-suite bathroom in the room. Had to share a facility down the hall, which can be inconvenient, especially at night. Breakfast was limited to set times, and the check-in/check-out times seemed quite early. My overall sense of welcome was lacking.

Couples looking for a cozy escape
The breakfast was a highlight, especially when they surprised us with delicious little cakes for dessert. One morning, we left early for a boat tour, and our hosts packed us a good lunch, sandwiches, fruit, and all the essentials, a real lifesaver.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what you get, it was still acceptable.

The fine sea views from the King Room were a definite highlight. Breakfast, although not extensive, included tasty snacks that added a nice touch. Issues arose with the shared bathroom, inconvenient during night-time hours, and the TV lacked sound initially, causing frustration. The location was a bit remote without a car, necessitating a longer walk back from local dining options.

We had a great 3 nights at Derrynane Bay House! Our Standard Double Room was spacious and super clean, with comfortable bedding and a good shower. The breakfast options were fantastic, and the traditional Irish breakfast really hit the spot. Eleonore and Didier, the hosts, were warm and checked on us often. They even prepared a packed lunch for our boat trip to Skellig Michael, a thoughtful touch!
